At Hillary’s Music, you can take private music lessons in piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, violin, cello, voice and banjo.  Or join a group class for orchestra, guitar, chorus, pre-school, kids’ music, or band!

Hillary teaches starting at age 2 and teaches many teenagers and adults.  Piano is the best instrument on which to start, so many students begin there.  Don’t worry, you don’t need to run out and buy a piano (or figure out how to move it!) for a while.  Most students start on an inexpensive electric keyboard.  Then add other instruments or group classes as they advance in their music education.

Throughout the year,  students perform at local events,  community centers,  and formal recitals.  Recitals are always free to attend, no tickets needed! No student is required to perform, many take lessons for their own personal enjoyment.

I provide the lesson books for students and we use a lot of web content to supplement. However, there are a ton of books on Amazon that are graded to specifically be accessible to the student, depending on their level. for example:

Books like these have everything from the Minecraft theme to “Let it Go” to “All about that Bass” They might be what you are looking for, in terms of a motivational tool, stocking stuffer, or something for an Easter basket!  If you need other suggestions, don’t hesitate to ask for advice!
